Leisure activities

You will never be bored in Notodden. The University College has a training room with a climbing wall, a library with study hall, swimming pool, exercise room and several computer labs. You can also find a court for track and field events, skating rink and two sport halls, near to the school. There is also a ski jump and a modern cross-country skiing arena nearby.
You can also find an illuminated down hill slope not far from the center of the city. Hardangervidda, Lifjell, Blefjell and Gaustadtoppen is not far away. Notodden is surrounded by lakes and rives that offer various challenges.
There are a number of sport clubs you can contact: Notodden football club, Notodden handball club, Snøgg (track and field events, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, skating), Notodden Cross-country racing club, Notodden Archery and Heddal table-tennis club.

At each campus there is a wide variety of student activities available through various clubs and groups (and the same is true for cultural activities in the municipalities where the campuses are situated).
