Elverhøy day care

The Elverhøy day care is situated in beautiful natural surroundings at Lille-elva in Porsgrunn, which is within walking distance from the college campus, an elementary schoool, student housing, and the city center.

The staff at the day care consists of a preschool teacher/pedagogue, an assistant/pedagogue, and two other assistants. Their 20 years of experience combined with various specialty competencies are an excellent foundation on which to operate a secure and happy day care for the children of students.

We emphasize close cooperation with parents so that the day care can be a positive experience for both children and parents.

Childhood is a time filled to the brim with precious moments, which is why we set apart lots of time for playing, exploring, surprises, excitement and music. We have a small herb garden and a shed.

The day care can accommodate 21 children ages 1 to 5 years old.

Opening hours are from 07.30 until 16.30. Study-related exceptions can be personally discussed.
