Sætreåsen day care

Sætråsen day-care centre is located near campus in beautiful surroundings, close to the forests. These surroundings play a huge and natural part in the children's daily life at Sætreåsen., whether they are playing, exploring or learning. We focus on appreciating the child and to meet the child on its own terms, we focus on its interests and characteristics, but also includes the child as a part of a larger group.

People without admission to a field of study may also apply for day care at Sætreåsen.
An educational leader and two nursery assistants are in charge of each section. The staff are consistent and have varied professional competence. The day-care centre also functions as an arena of social networking for both children and adults.

Sætråsen focuses on developing children's social competence as an area of importance during a five year period. A long-term educational plan secures the day-care centre's progression and creates coherence in daily routines.

Sætreåsen day-care centre consists of two sections, housing children from 0 to 6 years of age.

Opening hours are from 7:15 am till 4.30 pm. If various studies requires extended opening hours that can be arranged.
